Art and craft at Filix School is a dynamic and inspiring space where imagination, creativity, and innovation come together. From blending art with concepts from science—such as creating roly-poly dolls from old plastic balls that explore balance and motion—to creating artwork from paper scraps, fabric pieces, and everyday discard, students learn that creativity is not limited by resources but powered by imagination.
The principles of recycling, reusing, and upcycling are woven naturally into the process, fostering an eco-conscious mindset from an early age. A highlight of this creative journey is the fashion show using recycled materials, where children design and showcase outfits made from newspapers, plastic, cardboard, and leftover fabrics. These experiences boost confidence, teamwork, and self-expression while reinforcing sustainability.
